ArborShore Bi-Fold garage doors
ArborShore Bi-Fold, Square Top

Bi-Fold options are designed to imitate the traditional look of a four-segment door. Although it may appear to break in the center and fold in to each side, the horizontal section breaks allow it to open upward.

The Raynor ArborShore™ Collection Limited Warranty

Seller warrants the sections of its ArborShore model woos garage doors against rot-through due to normal weather damage for five (5) years from the date of delivery of the Product to the original Purchaser (six (6) years if Purchaser ordered the Deluxe Factory Stain Option), and the sections of its StreamWood model for two (2) years from the date of delivery of the Product to the original Purchaser, provided the Product has been properly installed and maintained. If within the term of the warranty any of the garage door sections are determined to be defective upon inspection by persons authorized by Seller, Seller will repair, replace, or otherwise compensate for (at Seller's option) any defective garage door sections. Seller will pay for required labor and material costs associated with any repair work. Any shipping or labor costs associated with the removal, delivery, finishing and reinstallation of any repairs will be Purchaser's responsibility.

Seller warrants any hardware supplied with the Products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery of the Product to the original Purchaser.

This warranty does not extend to or cover rot-through resulting from damage to the garage door section caused by fire, other accident or casualty, vandalism, radiation, harmful fumes, or foreign substances in the atmosphere, or occurring as a result of any physical damage or the failure of paint or stain applied by Purchaser. This warranty shall not extend to, or cover, rotting-through as a result of damage to the garage door sections caused by failure to adhere to the Care & Maintenance instructions provided with every ArborShore and StreamWood Door sold, which includes but is not limited to reasonable, necessary and proper maintenance including re-coating or re-finishing. This warranty also does not extend to or cover any damages or claims with respect to any Products that in any way have been altered, processed, misused, or improperly handled or installed. This warranty does not cover normal wood conditions due to contraction and expansion of wood, checking, cracking, lifting wood grain, and leaking sap pockets. These conditions do not harm the stability or durability of the door, and are natural reactions of wood to changes in humidity levels.

ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.

To make a claim under this warranty contact Seller at Customer Service, 888-400-2632, or by fax to 800-323-7896 and provide Seller with your name, address, telephone number, date of delivery of the Product, and a description of the defect or condition giving rise to the claim.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Tannin Bleed Through
Tannins are naturally contained in wood and contribute greatly to the properties that inhibit mold and rot. Tannin "bleed" can occur when painting AroborShore or StreamWood garage doors with lighter color paints. Tannin bleeds appear as yellowish-brown colored areas "bleeding" through the primer or first finish coat. These areas must be over-coated with a high quality stain blocker or primer/sealer prior to additional finish coats. Spot-seal the tannin bleed area only as required. Tannin bleed through is not covered in the ArborShore or StreamWood warranties, as it naturally occurs in some instances, due to the physical nature of wood.
